Violin Viola Singer Songwriter String Arranger

Rocio is a violinist, violist, string arranger and writer on The 2013 GRAMMY® Award-winning album “Imaginaries” by Quetzal.  She recorded in the orchestra and played solo violin on “Proud Corazón” in the Disney Pixar film “Coco.”  Rocio appears in the 2013 Maroon 5 music video for their single "Daylight" as a featured musician from Playing for Change.  She has performed in the Oscars Orchestra, on American Idol and NBC’s The Voice.

Performances include Rihanna, Marc Anthony, Randy Newman, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Sting, The Eagles, Michael Buble and Josh Groban.  Rocio has recorded with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aloe Blacc and Raphael Saadiq.  She has performed on the GRAMMY® Awards as a violin soloist, The Tonight Show, and Saturday Night Live.

As a singer songwriter, Rocio Marron's debut album, released November 2011, is musically vibrant with classic and cultural nuances that evolve into an urban folk sound that is refreshingly introspective and socially conscious.  A gentle undertow of vocal harmonies drifts above the strength of complex and moving string sections that envelop lyrics that are intimate and emotional.

Rocio is available for arranging and recording services specializing in string and vocal arrangements.  She arranged and remote recorded violin and viola for the single “I Do” featuring LeAnn Rhimes and Aloe Blacc.

Rocio is proud to endorse Thomastik-Infeld strings and CodaBow carbon fiber bows.

Rocio arranged and recorded strings on this track from the GRAMMY® Award-winning album “Imaginaries” by Quetzal.
